Projects List

View all your AI chatbots on the Projects page. Every LILA project you’ve created is displayed here. Each project represents a separate AI assistant connected to its own database with unique settings, billing, and usage tracking.

Overview

This page shows a table of all projects across your account with real-time status, billing, and usage information.

Search and Filter

Search projects by name using the search box at the top. The search updates automatically after you stop typing (700ms delay).

Filter Tabs

Three tabs organize projects by status:

  • Active - Projects currently running and accepting queries
  • Inactive - Projects that have been paused (widget queries blocked)
  • Trashed - Projects that have been archived (can be restored)

Click any tab to filter the project list.

Project Table

Columns

The table displays the following information for each project:

Name - Project title set during creation

Package - Current billing plan (Free, Starter, Pro, Enterprise)

Credits - Query usage visualization

  • Progress bar showing percentage used
  • Format: used / total (e.g., “250 / 500”)
  • Visual indicator turns red when approaching limit

Security Mode - Authentication mode

  • Shows configured security type (JWT, API Key, etc.)
  • Displays dash (-) if no special security configured

Status - Project state with badges

  • Active or Inactive text
  • Additional badges:
    • PAUSED (red) - Project inactive, queries blocked
    • External AI (blue) - Using BYOK with OpenAI/Anthropic/Gemini
    • WL (blue) - White-label branding enabled

Created - Date project was created (formatted as “Jan 3rd, 26”)

Action - Management buttons

  • Manage - Opens project settings (for Active/Inactive projects)
  • Restore icon (recycle bin) - Restores trashed projects

Status Badges

Projects can display multiple status badges simultaneously:

  • PAUSED - Project toggle is OFF, widget shows “temporarily unavailable”
  • External AI - Tooltip shows provider (e.g., “Using OPENAI instead of LILA’s default AI”)
  • WL - Tooltip shows “Custom branding is active”

Creating a New Project

Create a new AI chatbot for a different database by clicking the Create New Project button (top right with plus icon) to start the 8-step project creation wizard.

Managing a Project

Click the Manage button on any active or inactive project to access:

  • Project Overview
  • Schema Upload
  • Database Connection
  • Playground
  • Business Logic
  • Settings
  • Billing

Restoring Trashed Projects

Recover a deleted project from the Trashed tab:

  1. Click the restore icon (recycle bin) in the Action column
  2. A confirmation popup appears asking you to type the project name
  3. Type the exact project name to enable the Restore button
  4. Click Restore to reinstate the project

What gets restored:

  • Project configuration and settings
  • Schema and business logic
  • Usage history and remaining credits
  • Chat history (if trashed less than 90 days ago)

What changes:

  • New API keys generated for security (old keys invalidated)

Pagination

The table shows 10 projects per page. Use the pagination controls at the bottom to navigate between pages.
