1. Agreement to Terms
By accessing or using LILA's services, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you disagree with any part of these terms, you may not access our service.
2. Description of Service
LILA provides an AI-powered natural language interface for database queries. Our service includes:
- Embeddable chat widget for web applications
- Natural language to SQL query conversion
- Multi-database support
- Analytics and usage reporting
3. Account Registration
To use our services, you must:
- Provide accurate and complete information
- Maintain the security of your account credentials
- Notify us immediately of unauthorized access
- Be responsible for all activity under your account
- Be at least 18 years old or have legal capacity
4. Acceptable Use Policy
You may NOT use LILA to:
- Violate any laws or regulations
- Infringe on intellectual property rights
- Transmit malware or harmful code
- Attempt unauthorized access to systems
- Engage in data mining or scraping
- Overwhelm our infrastructure with requests
- Resell our services without authorization
- Process sensitive personal data without proper safeguards
5. Subscription and Billing
Pricing Plans
Current pricing and plan details are available on our Pricing Page. Plans include Free, Testing, Starter, Pro, and Enterprise tiers.
Try Before You Buy
- Testing: 50 queries/month to validate your schema (Dashboard only, widget disabled)
- Free: 50 queries/month for production use (widget enabled)
Billing Cycle
- Subscriptions renew automatically every 30 days
- Billing cycle resets on every plan change
- Prices subject to change with 30 days notice
Plan Changes (Upgrade / Downgrade)
Every plan change works like "Return and Get New":
- We calculate the value you consumed on your current plan
- We refund the remaining unused value
- We charge the full price of your new plan
- You get a fresh start with your new plan's full query allocation
- Your billing cycle resets to the date of change
Example (Upgrade): You're on Starter ($35, 500 queries) and used 50 queries. Consumed value: $3.50. Remaining: $31.50. Upgrade to Pro ($95): You pay $95 - $31.50 = $63.50 and get 0/2,500 queries fresh.
Example (Downgrade): You're on Pro ($95, 2,500 queries) and used 100 queries. Consumed value: $3.80. Remaining: $91.20. Downgrade to Starter ($35): You get refunded $91.20 - $35 = $56.20 and get 0/500 queries fresh.
Cancellations
Cancellation works the same as downgrading to Free. You pay only for what you consumed, and the remaining value is refunded.
Overage
- Enterprise only: Can enable overage mode (continue using beyond limit, charged per query)
- All other plans: Queries blocked when limit reached (upgrade to continue)
Playground Usage
The Dashboard Playground allows you to test queries against your database schema. All playground queries count toward your monthly quota.
6. Intellectual Property
Our Property
LILA owns all rights to our service, including software, designs, logos, and documentation. You may not copy, modify, or reverse engineer our technology.
Your Property
You retain ownership of your data and content. By using our service, you grant us a license to process your queries and provide our services.
Feedback
Any feedback or suggestions you provide become our property and may be used without compensation to you.
7. Data and Privacy
Your use of our services is also governed by our Privacy Policy. Key points:
- We only access database schemas, not actual data
- Queries are processed on LILA's secure infrastructure
- We maintain logs for debugging and improvement
- You are responsible for compliance with data regulations
8. Service Level Agreement
- Uptime Target: 99.9% monthly availability
- Support Response:
- Starter: Email within 48 hours
- Pro: Email within 24 hours
- Enterprise: Priority support within 4 hours
- Maintenance: Scheduled with 48 hours notice
9. Disclaimers and Limitations
No Warranty
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.
Limitation of Liability
IN NO EVENT SHALL LILA BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS OR REVENUES, WHETHER INCURRED DIRECTLY OR INDIRECTLY.
Maximum Liability
Our total liability shall not exceed the amount paid by you in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.
10. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold LILA harmless from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from:
- Your use of the service
- Violation of these terms
- Infringement of third-party rights
- Your data or content
11. Termination
- Either party may terminate with 30 days notice
- We may terminate immediately for terms violations
- Upon termination, your access will be disabled
- You may export your data before termination
- Termination does not relieve payment obligations
12. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. Material changes will be notified via email or service announcement. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
13. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Dubai, UAE.
